Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to have him with our program. He's the Director of the Hifdh program at Tanzeel. He has played a key role in taking our program to new heights of international recognition. Here's his brief bio:
Qari Sheikh Abdelkarim Edghouch was born in Morocco, moved to the US in 2000. He memorized the entire Quran at the age of nine, after that he studied the Seven recitations. He participated in many Quranic Contests, locally in Morocco, and internationally, in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and others,and was ranked first place in most of them. He was ranked first place among 20,000 contestants at the Hassan II Award (former King of Morocco). He is a graduate of Quranic Institute In Rabat, Morocco. He used to be the official reciter for the local Moroccan TV channels before he moved to the States. He has an Ijaza with an authentic chain from him to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him). He served several communities in the US such as, Islamic Association of Raleigh as lead teacher of Quranic School for five years, Islamic Association of Hawaii, islamic center of Greensboro, and others. He is currently instructional in charge and lead teacher of the Hifdh program at the Tanzeel Academy in Irving, Texas. Several students have finished the entire Qur'an under his supervision since he joined us. He was the official reciter at the ISNA conference in the years of 2007 and 2008. Also, was the official reciter at Reviving the Islamic Spirit in Toronto, Canada (2007). In Ramadan he travels around the USA to lead people in Taraweeh Prayers.
